Supervision and Consultation
I have been practicing as a psychotherapist since 1996, and have worked for EAP Agencies, and in private practice since then. I joined Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (formerly OSP) in 1998, and have been first a Qualifying Member, and then a Clinical Member in good standing ever since. I have been the Acting Treasurer for this group.
As soon as the College for Registered Psychotherapists was taking applications, I applied, and was accepted through the grandfather route on 9th April 2015.
I have organized and run two peer consultation groups for a few years, and have traded services with other Psychotherapists and Social Workers when we need insight or support. Prior to working in this field, I worked in social services with deaf and hard-of-hearing people since my undergraduate years in the mid- 1970's.
I have completed a Supervision Course that meets the requirements of the College of Registered Psychotherapists, and this is a formal part of my practice. Because of other commitments, I no longer supervise students.
I offer supervision alone or in a dyad, and provide services in person, online, or by phone, as best suits supervisees. I also provide case consultation as needed.
